  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • Throughout the week I worked in the Real Estate team. My tasks ranged from analysing and amending documents, recommending advice and next steps for different cases and researching.

    • Throughout the week I have vastly developed my ability to self-manage my workload by recognising when I am approaching capacity versus when I can accept more work and communicating such to my team clearly.

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • Gateley Legal has a fantastic culture that is both supportive and welcoming. Everyone is extremely friendly and willing to engage in conversation; both regarding the firm but also general conversation as well. Moreover, the firm welcomes Vacation Scheme Students and encourages them to embrace all that the week has to offer.

  • 5. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I extremely enjoyed my time on the Vacation Scheme and not least did it reaffirm that I want to be a solicitor in a commercial law firm but also that Gateley Legal would be a fantastic law firm to complete a training contract with and continue my career with.
