Overview
I support on a variety of projects communicating with a range of teams to get the tasks done. I communicate with 3rd party suppliers to obtain data and to discuss any developments. I conduct analysis regularly and competitor analysis.
Skills
My excel skills have been strengthened and I have developed my data analytic skills. I have also improved my networking skills.
Responsibilities
I was given an increasing amount of responsibility. This was good as it has allowed me to feel a valuable member of the team.
Support & Guidance
There was always support available with regular check ins throughout. We had access to a 'buddy' and a 'mentor'. This support was the right level and allowed for development opportunities and exposure to the business.
Culture
The company culture is very positive and supportive. There is a focus placed on employees well being and professional development. Senior management take the time to answer questions and to understand where issues are.
Your Impressions
I have really enjoyed my year at TUI. It is an excellent company and very supportive throughout. It is clear they value their employees and provide opportunities for everyone. I would highly recommend doing a placement at TUI.
