Overview
Helping to manage accounts, representing the brands to retailers and working with internal and external stakeholders collaboratively to develop and implement strategies. Updating reports and tracker, including creating new ones to track retail and report it to senior management. Supporting and owning additional projects to develop the accounts. Supporting with ad hoc day-to-day queries and requests from the team, retailers and brand teams.
Skills
Improved excel skills, by the end I was building trackers from reports and sharing teh data with my team. Developed my prioritisation skills to ensure I was best managing my time and not letting anything get missed. Developed my communication skills through presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility which made me feel like a trusted and valued member of my team. I was trusted to manage my own projects and strategies with external stakeholders.
Support & Guidance
I received incredible support from my line manager, she gave me exceptional mentorship and always encouraged and enabled me to develop my commercial skills beyond my role. My team were also so supportive throughout my internship and I always felt I could go to anyone for advice or help.
Culture
The company culture was really positive, there was a huge sense of team spirit, within my direct team.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship, I learnt incredible new skills and knowledge of the industry. The sense of community and the friendships I built, especially with the intern cohort made my time at L'Oreal such an incredible experience.

Definitely go for it, I had the best year and am so glad I applied. You will meet such incredible people and learn so much from everyone about the industry and life and definitely make friends for life.
