    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Reporting on the total web traffic, lead volumes and the lead conversion to sale rate across Renault and Dacia, providing the business with an insight into the digital performance of both brands. Liaising with the marketing campaign manager and external marketing agencies to update, edit and deliver digital marketing assets to support paid search, social and display ads across Renault and Dacia. Supporting the paid media partners with the delivery and approval of paid media ads.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Excel - developed skills through the use of formulas, reporting and graphs. Creativity - briefing the creative agency on required image assets, editing copy for all digital ads and editing digital display banners within the Adylic platform. Responsibility - ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks. Communication - lead on catch-up meetings with external agencies to discuss current or upcoming updates. Agency management - management of creatives briefs, supporting in central approval and management of priorities. Compliance - ensure marketing compliance with legal team across digital paid media.

  • I have been given the opportunity to take responsibility and ownership of multiple projects throughout my placement. This has included working with internal stakeholders from other business departments or externally with marketing agencies and media partners.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I had a 4 week thorough handover which allowed a broad overview of the role. I have weekly 121 meetings with my manager to provide updates, discuss any questions and future development opportunities. The surrounding internal and external team are always around to provide support and answer any questions.
