Overview
It is daily rental which means renting vehicles, explaining the liability and controls, taking phone calls. We do a lot of replacement so insurance customers who have had an accident or vehicle is going on for repairs, helping customers who are in need. Drive a wide range of vehicles and distances whilst doing marketing and expanding the business
Skills
Communication skills through customer facing and presenting in front of a large audience. Criticism how to handle it and adapt from it Sales how to express it in a way that it appeals to people
Responsibilities
Yes we had a lot of responsibility by driving expensive ans large vehicles on a daily basis. Also, having important captaincy roles where we responsibile for the safety of people and vehicles but also business growth.
Support & Guidance
We were given support by branch managers, area managers who I was able to lean on for anything and then had personal tutors who we could reach out for any struggles. Had online training courses available at any time
Culture
It’s as if it’s a family business you work very closely to another and very tight night group. Are able to meet outside of work and have fun
Your Impressions
I loved working with my team therefore it made my job and coming in daily much more exciting. Learnt a lot from it and how to balance work and life so I gained a lot of experience from it which I can adapt to my further studies and daily life
Yes
Definitely give it a go the role is so broad you can take it any way and there is so much career progression opportunities. Develop your customer service and communication skills as these are a necessity within the role
