Overview
providing line support to operations team regarding non-conforming supplier parts. raising any non conformities to suppliers. working with suppliers to put in corrective and preventative action for non conformities.
Skills
Yes. I have learnt hoe to design an experiment and do a gauge R&R study and statistical analysis.
Responsibilities
I was tasked with managing a supplier. setting up meetings to discuss the current non conformities and the corrective and preventative actions that could be put in place to prevent re-occurrences. I was assigned projects that involved collaborating with different departments and setting and meeting deadlines.
Support & Guidance
A lot. I could always go to my team members and asked questions when i was unsure of a process.
Culture
It was easy to go up to any direct or indirect employee with a task I need assistance with.
Your Impressions
I have learnt so much about quality procedures and audits from his role. I have had the opportunity to improve the statistical knowledge I already had. I also had the opportunity to be a part of an interesting and amazing intern community. I made some of the best memories this past year.
Yes
Don't be afraid to be proactive and take opportunities as they come by. Ask for assistance when needed as people would be quite forthcoming with help.
