The Role
I found the work challenging, the people relaxed and friendly. All in all it was a great placement and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
There was a great team spirit in the department which i was in, pensions. I was valued and well looked after, even invited out for socials which weren't organised as part of the scheme.
The support was great. I was offered feedback on all my work and it was detailed feedback where the importance of what i was doing (though sometimes a boring task) was explained to me.
My trainee buddy had this down to perfection. I was always asked how I was coping with the workload.
I was asked to draft some pretty important documents. If i am honest I was expecting to be making brews all day - I actually got stuck in!
Difficult to say, I dont have a crystal ball. However I have learnt about this type of firm so I suppose I have everything I need for my career!
The Company
During work hours, you work, after work hours you work less so and socialise.
It was a well oiled machine.
I attended multiple training events and seminars. I was invited to a pensions networking event which was fantastic.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I hope I get offered a job, I worked hard during the scheme so we will see!
The Culture
Great social scene - I went out loads and was only there for two weeks!
City centre prices. not london but still city prices. Not too expensive though.
Manchester city centre - its outstanding!
I got involved more than most, networking and social events. I think 5 events in ten days is pretty good!
