Overview
Manage corporate rental accounts. Maintain fleet size and health. Ensure customer service is key. Hit our key performance index’s at the end of each day/week/month.
Skills
Learnt how to communicate in a professional and concise manner. Greatly improved my social skills and ability to analyse situations based purely on customer interaction. Helped task management skills as there are many aspects to the role, deciding what takes priority based on where it sits quantitatively in relation to our performance index’s.
Responsibilities
At the start I was constantly monitored, but as you develop managers give you more responsibility quite quickly with the expectation of having knowledge and expertise.
Support & Guidance
I received more support and guidance once I moved to an office based role. At the branch I received support from my direct line manager but not many others.
Culture
It’s good, competitive but not toxic. It pushes you to work hard and do your best.
Your Impressions
I only enjoyed the placement once I moved to office based and did the Mon-Fri 9-5. Before working a 7 week rotor with hardly any weekends off and the constant late/early shift changes kills any sort of social life you can have
Yes
Very good if you want to go into sales and be a social person. If you want a more office based role they do help you get there.
