  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My day to day activities would be running reports to be submitted and sent to higher management, signing off important information on safety recalls around Europe to management before issuing and having frequent meetings amongst the department and with different branches across the region.

  • I felt like my managers gave me varying levels of responsibility to match my personal capabilities within my job role.

  • I received as much support and guidance as I could possibly get. My line manager was always there to help me whenever I needed it.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Company culture was pretty good. Honda is very big on respecting the individual and I feel like I was respected by everyone. The general atmosphere in the office is good, but can sometimes become a little noisy at peak times.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I enjoyed my placement but the enjoyment came mostly from learning the workplace skills needed to excel in future career endeavors, and less so the tasks themselves. There would at times be moments of satisfaction with work that would make the job enjoyable, but most enjoyment came from developing my workplace skills.

  • It is a really good experience. The skills you learn working here are next to none. The work will be difficult at times but if you persevere you will come out of this job feeling much more prepared for future work and much more resilient than you were before.
