  • Fleet management ensuring every customer receives a car to meet their specialised needs, be it a retail, insurance, corporate, breakdown, or fleet booking. Aiming to make the transition from customers own vehicles into ours a smooth transition. This involves assessing the reservations list and staying ahead of schedule while maintaining and balancing fleet allocation. Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes, I was mentored by great people in my branch and area and picked up different perspectives of how to do different things to become more effective and efficient. This lead me to being sent on my own to do deals and carry the brands name on my back as a representative. It depends how much you want it as the more time, effort and responsibility you have this in turn reeks better rewards. I was accountable for anything I had solemnly done myself, although if I was unsure there was always a helping hand or someone there to mentor me.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • There was always someone there to lend a hand, even though they would be busy themselves they would take the time out and explain to me anything I was unsure about. From the first day I started I was greeted with open arms and felt as part of a family in my branch thanks to my manager [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] and assistant manager [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] as well as all the other staff. Additionally my first deal was with [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions], who went step by step on the launchpad with me and taught me the tricks of the trade. No matter how silly a question is or however many times you ask it there will always be someone there to guide you. This stuck to me as now I want to reciprocate this back to other staff when I hopefully end up in a similar position.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Fun, vibrant, faced-paced and inclusive. Everyone in the company is down to Earth and no matter what position they are in they treat you the same no matter if your an Intern, Graduate program etc. The philosophy of the business and the core even reciprocates the idea back, “Take care of your customers and employees first, and the profits will follow.” The staff are treated well and and can always have a laugh.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I have really enjoyed my placement as I've learned so much and now hoping to finish my degree and hopefully snatch up a vacancy to continue the ladder of progression. During my placement I've made friends (which feel like family), connections, and memories that will stand with me as I continue to develop and be the best I can.

  • 7. Would you recommend Enterprise Mobility to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Enterprise Mobility
  • Be yourself, research a bit about the company and don't be afraid to make mistakes as " mistakes are just happy little accidents". The role requires charisma, knowledge on the industry and management skills. I would also look at the various branch locations and see which is the best commute as the days can be long but very worth it as you are always doing something or on the move.
