Overview
Working on a project assigned by my line manager as well as a project with other interns from around the country. I get to meet team members in my office and around the country to understand what exactly our team does.
Skills
Developed presentation and communication skills. Also got to work on my research and analysis skills.
Responsibilities
Yes, a lot of responsibility. I have felt incredibly involved in the team and my team members value my input and suggestions.
Support & Guidance
A lot. The bank has a lot of resources for learning and support that you can easily access. Your manager checks in on you frequently to ensure that things are running smoothly.
Culture
It was great. People love to talk to you and hear you out. You have the ability to speak with individuals who are very high up in the hierarchy without any difficulty or obstacles. The office space is also very relaxed and accommodating.

It was a great starting point in my career and really helped me understand what work life looks like.
