Overview
The main focus is on sales and service. Each day I check customers in to vehicles and return them at the end of rentals. Customer service is a main part of this, making sure every customer is completely satisfied. Sales is also a key aspect, from offering upgrades to different vehicles and selling protection packages to all customers.
Skills
I have become more confident from speaking to different customers and presenting things to my colleagues. My sales skills have also developed as I hadn’t done much selling prior to my internship.
Responsibilities
I was given responsibilty straight away at the beginning of my internship. Since the first week I have updates our sales and operations boards and sent out statistics to the whole group. I also answered phone calls, completed rental agreements, and returned vehicles by myself since the second week. A few months in I was also assigned my own local accounts which I was in charge of marketing to and managing bookings.
Support & Guidance
I was given constant support from my branch manager, other trainees in my branch, interns from across the area, the talent development team and the HR team.
Culture
Enterprise is a very friendly place to work, with a big focus on team work and feeling a part of the team.
Your Impressions
I found my placement engaging at enjoyable, the 12 months went very quickly. Each day is very different so time goes so quickly.
