Overview
My internship is in a form of 2 weeks rotation in 8 weeks of internship and I'll get to shadow the colleagues. However, the colleagues also give me some tasks to do.
Skills
Yes, for example communication skill, teamwork, and programming. I also gain more experience working in corporate.
Responsibilities
I was originally going to be shadowing but I request my colleagues to give me some work, so I'm given some tasks. I think the tasks are manageable. They also allow me to tell whether I have too much or too less work.
Support & Guidance
The internship induction didn't give much support and guidance as it's more of a presentation of a corporate values and cultures. However, the colleagues here are extremely helpful.
Culture
I think it fosters collaboration, and communications. There's also a lot of meetings.
Your Impressions
I enjoy the internship. Even though there could be a lot of work due to many clubs and activities but I get to connect and share knowledge with many people.
Yes
This internship is more about learning than competition or technical. You have to demonstrate that you're ready and willing to learn something new. You could be an absolute newbie, but as long as you have the passion and willingness to learn, you'll be fitted here.
