Overview
Worked in various subteams within the payroll and workforce management team including tech advisory, payroll consultancy, global compensation management and payroll service delivery. Shadowed senior staff and worked on live client engagements creating decks on powerpoint and helping with data integrity and testing tasks on Excel as well as finance tracking.
Skills
Developed Excel and Powerpoint skills as well as learning about industry software in PWFM including Equus and Altryx.
Business Insight
There were not many opportunities to learn about the business beyond our department, although we could talk to people from other departments at socials.
Culture
Very social and welcoming. Absolutely no complaints about the culture.
Your Impressions
I found it incredibly enjoyable and valuable as we were exposed to such a range of tasks and were never bored.

Learn about the departments on offer and make an informed decision about which department you want to apply to as there is not much capacity to move once you are on the internship.
