Overview
Management of fleet of cars on a rental basis. Manage booking process and ensure correct underwriting for each customer. Checking customers in and out of vehicles and managing the rental process ensuring to provide excellent customer service Sales based by selling protection packages fuel upgrade options etc Managing insurance customers- non- fault referrals Marketing and account management with current corporate dealership and bodyshop accounts Growth of new accounts Driving

Responsibilities
We have different dedicated focus areas after we settle into the job: for example I took up a service focus role for the branch ensuring to manage complaint customers and provide amazing customer service. After this I took up the icon ( insurance) focus for a branch managing marketing to body shops and dealerships. I find that the mix of responsibilities made the job more interesting and less boring
Support & Guidance
We receive support from all levels of the business from trainees to the assistant managers branch managers and then also the specialised people in the area such as those that are the area risk managers etc
Culture
Atmosphere is friendly and a younger culture. As much as everyone is professional I found a family environment in both branches I worked in
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the placement as I believe it took me out of my comfort zone. Previously I didn’t know anything about cars or car rental. During this placement I have gained a lot of knowledge into the industry which I can use in the future.

When applying ensure to focus on your sales and customer service experiences - sales doesn’t have to be the standard it can be something simple. Ensure to be honest as they value integrity as well as be yourself
