I have a project to complete with other tech interns that focuses on a sustainability problem within the bank, a project working on a test dashboard used by by manager and their team and a voluntary project building an app for an external kids coding club.
Skills
Yes, I started this internship with minimal coding experience, I have now learned more about how software engineering is implemented within abusiness, especially a bank. I have also learned how to use different IDEs and write lines of codes in variou slanguages inclduing javascript and JAVA. I now understand the details of front and bank end work and how APIs are used. I've been able to demonstrate the skills I learned during the placement.
