    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Would really depend on the client I was working on and the stage the audit was currently at when I joined the team. This would determine the roles and tasks I would carry out. Primarily, these would be things like bank reconciliations, selecting samples for testing certain FSLI items, administrative documentation etc.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • Would depend on the client i was working on and how engaging the team were that I was working with. In my first client which lasted about 6 weeks, I was giving little to no work to do, and the Senior associate in charge was not helpful or willing to give training at all. However, there would be other clients that i was on where this would be the complete opposite. It really depended on the people.
