Overview
Summer scheme placement at a rural office. Shadowing individuals working in estate management, rural professionalism and food and farming. In office work includes auditing, mapping, research, and valuations. Out of office work includes site inspections, property viewings, and client meetings.
Skills
Developed a wide range of new skills and knowledge surrounding property management. Includes residential and commercial property, as well as agricultural land. Also gained an understanding of rural agency - the valuation, selling, and buying of property and land and the various factors which shape this process. As part of estate management, I have gained an understanding of the significance of mapping for shaping strategic projects.
Responsibilities
Yes - a great deal of financial auditing, mapping for various projects, and organising contract work.
