Overview
Food and Farming placement student - assisting the team with agricultural management and consulting work. Days in the office include mapping out environmental scheme options on client land and creating budget spreadsheets. I am often out on site visiting clients at their farms and estates.
Skills
I have improved my knowledge of the agricultural industry and current issues. I have a better understanding of environmental schemes and strategic management for business development. I am more confident on excel and have developed my client facing skills.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given my own tasks to complete including budgets and reports.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance from the whole office. My mentor was really helpful and always gave me tasks to do and answered all of my questions
