Overview
I hac to work at the forefront of innovation within TV department. Had to keep track of sales and forecast, updating the weekly, monthly reports for major customers by using Excel and understanding the market data. Was managing Product Sample Stock - arranging deliveries & collection of stock between other EU countries and UK in order to maintain operating levels.Bringing potential new ideas and insight into the team on both the market and product.
Skills
Yes for sure. First of all, i have developed analytical skills by using Excel in my everyday job. Have gone through many trainings, that helped me to develop my Microsoft skills and as well as other apps like SAP, outlook, Desmond and others. Have developed my social and professional skills by interacting with internal people in Panasonic.
Responsibilities
yes, i believe i was given some valuable tasks and felt that i was useful in a company. i was given projects where i could deal with them by myself, which gave me a lot of problem solving skills and good time management skills. i was able to to take full ownership of daily tasks with a flexible approach.
Support & Guidance
I felt there was always someone to help me out. I felt i had a good connection with my manager which is why i received a good support and guidance throughout my placement. Panasonic makes students feel supported and valuable all the time
Culture
The general atmosphere is nice, as there are a lot of other students who are joining a placement with you. So it felt you are doing work along with your friends. My experience was great as everyone seems friendly and open to get to know you.
