  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • A lot, the team I worked with were consistently giving me new opportunities to learn about the different jobs within the department. I got to attend meetings, conferences and trainings beyond the scope of my job which gave me a more holistic view of what they do as a department.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Really friendly, causal atmosphere. You can tell that everyone gets along and a lot of work gets done. There's a very good work-life culture - I was never asked to stay beyond my hours and encouraged to take breaks if I needed them. There were many team building activities within my department, the interns & placement students and the wider company like sports days, quizzes and darts.

  • I've really enjoyed it, felt valued and looked after. Learnt a lot about my department and the role they play in the business and was offered many chances to develop new skills and meet new people.
