Overview
Gaining exposure to the various departments within PwC's tax department, specifically Listed & Inbound. Assisting the team in projects and building both a practical as well as theoretical knowledge base.
Skills
Developed my problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was tasked with review documents, emails and slide decks. Also took on more technical work such as reviewing VAT invoices.
Support & Guidance
I received immense support from all the team members and staff. They were always up for answering my questions and explaining concepts.
Culture
A great environment for professional develop, the people both support as well as push you to hone your skill set. Everyone is extremely approachable, creating a collaborative and positive work environment.
Your Impressions
It was a wonderful experience, being able to get to know the firm as well as the teams and gaining valuable practical experience and knowledge of tax. Overall, I would highly recommend the internship opportunity within PwC for anyone who wants to kick start their career within finance.
