    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role at Expedia Group is working with the Strategic Partnerships and Affiliates marketing team. I am currently doing lots of market research with our current affiliates which is involving interviews and surveys, understanding how the marketing team can improve their support with our current partners in relation to communication and collaboration. I am also undertaking some competitive analysis, looking into affiliate marketing programs and content creator programs.

  • Yes definitely. My communication and collaboration skills are further developing by speaking to different colleagues from various departments. I am gaining diverse perspectives and learning to work cohesively in a team, enhancing my professional growth. I am refining my time management skills by handling responsibilities and consistently meeting deadlines with efficiency. I am developing a proactive mindset by taking initiative in projects.

  • Yes, I have been given quite a few responsibilities during my internship so far. I feel like I am contributing to marketing team and making some real changes.

  • I received lots of guidance and support through onboarding courses and good communication with my manager. I also have a mentor and a navigator to which has helped if I need any extra support.

  • The company culture is so welcoming and inviting. Everyone is so lovely, and I feel very comfortable walking around the offices.

  • Put as much previous experience on your CV as possible. Always attach a cover letter explaining your experience and why you want to work for Expedia. For the video interview, give lots of experience about any travels you have been on, especially if you have done some volunteering abroad etc. And BE YOURSELF.
