Overview
Assisting an audit team on an EY client. I helped with the half year review (limited assurance opinion) and reviewing the client’s controls and processes to prepare for the end of year audit

Responsibilities
Yes, I helped with lots of tasks to prepare for the year end audit. However, seniors in my team were always approachable and happy to answer any questions I had
Support & Guidance
My team supported me throughout, and I also had a buddy (graduate in first year of work as an informal contact) and counsellor (helps with career progression and recommends whether you should be offered a graduate role after the internship).
Culture
I found everyone to be really supportive and welcoming

I really enjoyed the internship, and found the work I was doing interesting. It was a little stressful during the first week because there was so much to learn, but after that point I enjoyed it more
