Overview
Using EY’s own dedicated audit platform to perform tasks which contribute to the overall audit. Some examples being: reviewing financial statements using EY references for the client; collating information sent by the client such as meeting minutes, limited partner registers.
Skills
I’ve developed my excel skills as well as my professional skepticism in reviewing client data to ensure everything is accurate and as it should be. I have also improved my social skills by engaging frequently with the team I was allocated to.
Responsibilities
I was given a fair amount of responsibility which made me feel like I was contributing to the entire team and client.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of good support and guidance from all the team members as well as my counsellor who was assigned to me during my time at the office.
Culture
It was a great culture which looked to get the best out of me and all of its employees in general. The office atmosphere was one of productivity and helped me thrive in whatever roles I had to fill.
