Overview
Working with Consulting clients on a regular basis helping them source experts, setting up consulting calls between the expert and our end client so they can seek the knowledge they need for their projects/research

Responsibilities
That’s the best part about this particular internship, if you ask for responsibility then you will get it! The only difference between me and a regular associate was the difference in pay, in terms of work responsibilities and expectations in terms of delivery, everything was the same. This really helped me in feeling that the work I did has the same level of impact as a regular associate and I was valued the same way as an associate was.
Support & Guidance
You are assigned with a placement mentor within the company, whom you can have monthly catchups with, as they are not someone who’s part of your team; it’s good to liaise with someone with a good level of experience who can mentor you and support you. On the other hand, we have weekly catchups with our assigned trainer and manager, who go over the Strengths and development areas during those feedback sessions, so there’s always room to improve and work on the feedback they provide.
Culture
Everyone’s pretty young which is good and open to have a chat with. The company working culture is intense and it’s a generally quite fast paced. But overall, the intensity is then compensated with the monthly team events which are great.
Your Impressions
10/10 experience, as I got a lot of valuable experience which will strengthen my CV. It was more hands on experience rather than just doing back end stuff or shadowing seniors. I always wanted to make sure my work is considered valuable and the amount of responsibilities I had, never felt like I’m just considered an ‘intern’ over here.
