Overview
Shadowing my supervisor. Undertaking research tasks. Taking minutes and attendance notes of meetings and client calls. Attending trainee training. Proofreading witness reports. Helping trainees with their actual tasks, and business development. Developing pitches for a client in a simulated environment. Adapting client-facing presentations for updates in regulations.

Yes. Confidence in presenting and meeting people in senior roles. Active listening and curiosity in asking employees about their roles. Writing skills, particularly being solution-oriented and making documents readily presentable. Time-management and organisation. Prioritising tasks.
Business Insight
Exciting to learn how non-legal roles both drive the business forward and serve to help the lawyers with their own client-facing service.
Culture
Wonderful atmosphere. Everyone was genuinely interested in you, your experiences and your ambitions, whilst being honest about why they loved working at the firm. Really appreciated the open door policy where you could go in and speak to nearly everyone.
