Innovation and technology strategy Review

My day to day activity varies. My objectives were to create visual tools to showcase the collaborations at GSK. There will be days where I focus on increasing my skills on power BI and Excel and other days where I focus on increasing communications of the individual and promising projects within GSK via Microsoft sways or interviews

I developed my commutation skills, my role includes a lot of collaborating with different departmental leads. I also learnt new softwares such as Power BI which is integral for data mining and interpretations. I improved in my organisational skills by creating my own deadlines and creating gantts of what I should produce each quater

I was given a lot of responsibility in my placement. My role required me to mostly work 1:1 with my manager in where she encouraged me to create my own deadlines, projects and figure out any problems and solving them.

I received a lot of support from my line manager who encouraged me in being more confident when presenting and in my work, supporting me in my personal development and finding the right contacts to talk to about any interest I had.

The culture at GSK is very welcoming, everyone wants to and is willing to help and go beyond your needs

This placement was beyond my expectations, I had the privilege of doing a variety of work in different softwares and tools where I was able to obtain a lot of different skills unknowingly until I started my reflection
