Overview
Helping customers throughout their rental time with enterprise. Delivering cars to customers and garages. Learning to use enterprises software 'Ecars'. Help cleaning cars. In this role you will be required to constantly be working with people whether its your work colleagues or your customers but it is balanced well with driving by yourself so you dont burn yourself out
Skills
developed my social skills immensely. I Learned how to work under pressure and also learned how to work as a team. I learned a great deal about cars and vans when I had no clue about them when entering the job. I leaned how to deal with business partners and how to maintain and grow those relationships. Moreover, I adapted to a new system and broadened my understanding of how a business works.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given a lot of responsibility and accountability after about a month and a half when I was coming to grips with everything. But my manager also let me know it was okay to make mistakes and he'd still be there to help me whenever id any questions.
Support & Guidance
I always had someone to rely upon and ask questions even when i was being pushed outside my comfort zone
Culture
The atmosphere in the workplace overall was very good. everyone is down to have a joke but also there to get the job done. We had dinner and lunches bought for us and free coffees on the regular which really got everyone's spirits up. Sometimes people might get stressed and you can feel the tension but that's always going to be there when you work in a fast paced encviornment
Your Impressions
I found my internship quite enjoyable. It came with more ups than downs. Of course I experienced a bit of stress but it was well worth the knowledge and skills I learned along the way. I really enjoyed working with my co workers and I had a good time nearly every day.
Yes
Keep an open mind, try to always be listening and learning and have some fun whilst your there.
