The Role
It was a good and useful experience, but it was very much a continual assessment which was a little exhausting!
Everybody was very friendly and we got on well, but there were so many people that it was hard to keep track of everybody at times! However, I made some lasting friendships with people that I have remained in touch with.
Everything was carefully explained and very well organised, and there was always somebody on hand to help when you needed it.
It was a very packed and tiring day, but that did mean that there was no time to be bored!
It wasn't really that kind of placement.
I picked up some excellent skills that should be very useful in future interviews no matter where they are!
The Company
Everybody was lovely.
Everything was brilliantly timed and ran very smoothly.
This placement was more about making sure you were already beginning to fit the mould that they wanted rather than necessarily improving you.
This is a great gateway to a summer internship.
The Culture
There was a lot of emphasis placed on networking, so there was a lot of opportunity to do so.
Everything took place within one hotel, and everything was completely paid for by the company.
Most of the activities outside of work were still related to work
