Overview
Sat in on team meetings, kept up to date with team activities. Worked on an individually lead project alongside additional small tasks that required training of company procedure and systems.
Skills
Developed skills working as a part of a large company, wider scale logistics and analytical efficiency.
Responsibilities
To begin with my responsibilities were in line with my knowledge. Attempts were made to increase the responsibilities available for me to take on but ultimately felt underworked.
Support & Guidance
Plenty of support and guidance from a range of perspectives. Worked as a part of a friendly approachable team. Also had multiple points of contact outside of the team.
Culture
The unexpected work from home norm meant a longer time to settle in. Without face to face contact daily, networking was more daunting. On site was a positive pleasant environment.
Your Impressions
Excellent insight to a large company, great experiences due to a flexible placement scheme.
Yes
Its a large company with many interconnected departments and teams, to get the most out of a placement speak to employees across the company.
