Overview
Working towards fulfilling project assigned solely to a group of interns. Involves a lot of office working, where you make concept designs on CAD software's and attend meetings with technical experts to get feedback and suggestions on how to proceed.
Skills
Presentation skills have improved greatly, as we have a customer meeting every week. Using a variety of software's as well as applying theoretical knowledge learnt from university onto practical applications.
Responsibilities
Yes, we were given the responsibility of completing a project that felt very important in informing future developments in the company.
Support & Guidance
Support was always given when asked. We were introduced to loads of experts in the company and met may important people.
Culture
General atmosphere is very good. Much more open and free thinking. It is relaxed and very positive.
Your Impressions
Enjoyed the placement quite a lot. however there were a few weeks where there was not a lot of work too do making it feel very boring.
Yes
Practice answering STAR questions and just have loads of scenarios ready which you can pick out from when asked relevant interview questions.
