    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • • Partnering with Recruiters, manage interview scheduling process for internal and external candidates via Outlook, Zoom, MS Teams etc. • Manage interviews that may include international time zones, senior stakeholders, video or in person meetings and multiple interview stages • Keep Candidates, Recruiters and Hiring Managers fully updated during the recruitment journey – providing professional and timely communication with internal and external contacts • Responsible for creating a positive candidate experience for our applicants via timely and professional candidate engagement • Maintain accurate, real-time records on Workday, our Applicant Tracking System and other systems as needed including Excel, MS Teams, Googledocs • Provide general administration support to the Talent Acquisition Team depending on interview volumes – this could involve advertising roles, candidate administration, reporting, project support etc • Working at pace in a high-volume environment, supporting Disney hiring practices across EMEA. • Act as an ambassador for the Disney brand with a focus on Candidate Experience

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes, I was given significant responsibility during my internship. I managed end-to-end recruitment processes, including attending and running my own meetings and hiring briefs. I had the independence and responsibility to conduct my own screening calls, organise assessment centres, and owned projects.

  • I received a lot of support and guidance during my internship. Managers and team members were always available to help. Colleagues were incredibly helpful, enabling me to achieve my goals and succeed in my responsibilities.

  • I loved my internship; working for Disney has been a dream come true, and the memories I made throughout the year will stay with me forever. I really couldn’t have asked for a better internship experience and I am incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to intern in this team.
