The Role
I really enjoyed my vacation scheme, a great experience.
I was incorporated as part of the team from day one, being given plentiful opportunities to get involved with a variety of work.
Support and guidance was always available from all members of staff, but in particular from my designated trainee buddy and supervisor.
I was involved in a number of different tasks each day which kept me busy.
I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility for a vacation scheme student.
The skills that I developed during this scheme should help me in understanding the practical issues involved in everyday practice. This will be very useful during my study of the LPC.
The Company
The office was very friendly and welcoming. I was made to feel a part of the team.
Very well organised.
The team in which I was based provided me with numerous tasks that helped me to develop my abilities to apply the law in practice.
Company Parties/Events
The firm has one of the highest retention rates in respect of newly qualified lawyers.
The Culture
The firm arranged numerous social events.
The costs were reasonable given that it was in London.
Impressive.
