Overview
Analysed UK market trends for acquisition of new customers in the UK LFO team to create a final presentation on trends by Generation and Products. Made use of Excel, PowerPoint and SQL Databases to deliver insights that shape future decisions based on recommendations made. Day-to-day involves networking with key stakeholders across Amex, upskilling in trainings and team meetings to discuss UK market margins and forecasts. Team meetings sometimes involve senior leadership team in the UK.
Skills
Learned Excel, SQL and PowerPoint deck presentations. Developed communication and teamwork skills by networking within the UK LFO team as well as outside in other Business Lines. Learned time management and presentation skills by talking with hiring managers and receiving constructive feedback. Enhanced analytical ability based on cross-sectional and time-series data to identify trends in the UK market. Improved my knowledge of the credit card industry including the negotiation of Cobrand deals, merchant side, and issuer side of the business.
Responsibilities
Responsibility of completing a project whilst keeping up with weekly team meetings to ensure that knowledge of business was up to date. Time management and organization of coffee chats and stakeholder meetings.
