Overview
After some training, I helped audit teams work to carry out their engagements. This typically involved attending meetings, working on Excel spreadsheets and doing other tasks to help the teams out.
Skills
I improved my Excel skills, and learned all about auditing and assurance. I also gained experience working in a professional office and networking with peers and clients.
Business Insight
It was really interesting, and a brilliant introduction to the range of roles available within the firm.
Culture
The company culture and general atmosphere was friendly, supportive and approachable.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the internship programme - it was a really brilliant four weeks. There were some really fun social events outside of work as well.
Yes
I would advise people to work on their maths and reasoning skills, and consider how best to work within a team dynamic ahead of assessment centre tests.
