  • Given Tasks as if you were an analyst and your Manager was always there to provide support if need be.

  • From my line manager the support was amazing, always providing feedback both positive and when things didn’t go so well constructive feedback.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Very Easy going. Most colleagues clocked out at 5pm, this is uncommon in any other bank in the market. But this may have reflected everyone’s genuinely supportive atmosphere and kindness as they were always willing to help development.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • From a workplace side it was great, good exposure and meaningful work which helped improve my technical and personal soft skills. However Emerging Talent didn’t organise many events for Interns and were very disorganised.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group
  • If you're hoping to turn your internship into a full-time job, you should probably consider other options. This bank generally hires directly for the graduate program, so finding an offer somewhere else might be in your best interest. Last year, only 4 out of over 30 interns were offered full-time positions, which isn't great compared to other banks.
