Overview
Human Resources industrial placement providing operational, administrative and coordination support for Steam Thermal Solutions and Group Functions. Worked on a variety of areas such as Early Careers, Talent, Employee Relations and DEI.
Skills
I received a great grounding in a variety of HR specialisms and engaged in challenging, impactful work that improved my resilience, communication, organisational and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
I received real responsibility whilst on placement. I was able to own and deliver projects. However, the support and guidance from my team and manager was always available.
Support & Guidance
I received high levels of support from my manager, team and wider network. There is a strong culture of supporting one another, with regular check ins, one to ones and team meetings.
Culture
The culture is very supporting and champions colleague wellbeing and this is evidenced by the great benefits colleagues receive.
Your Impressions
I loved my placement. I met so many great people and was able to gain a broad range of experience which will help me in my future graduate career.
