The Role
I really enjoyed aspects of it and I managed to do quite a few really great projects however I found that I often struggled to be given any responsibility.
I felt very valued and was often asked for advice on various aspects that I was a specialist in.
I was given too much support and guidance, I had to check everything with my manager which left me feeling like I had no freedom to take any risks.
It depended, I worked hard to never say no to anything and to gain a number of projects but if I had left it to the company or my manager I would have been very bored.
Responsibilty increased but only because I pushed for it, allthough at the end of my placement I have lots of responsibility.
The skills I've developed and what I have learned here will be invaluable in finding a graduate job. It also helped me to know where I wanted to go after I graduated.
The Company
Pretty dull but that was probably due to the location. We had three big events though that were organised for us which were fun but as general rule everyone kept to themself unless you made a massive effort.
It has been running for a while however there were many changes that could be made to give the student more responsibility.
There were countless opportunities to attend study days and training.

I think I would probably be offerred a job however I want to move to a different location and probably a different company.
The Culture
No other placement students but I had a few friends in the office who I socialised with regularly.
Not too expensive.
The nightlife in Trowbridge is non existent but there are lots of nice bars in Bath.
Loads of opportunities to get involved in charity work.
