Overview
Meetings with specific stake holders and working through design tasks that benefit the project
Skills
Yes, I have bettered my Figma skills, as well as learned how to use Protopie to a basic level. In addition to this, I have bettered my personal skills, such as public speaking, communication and organisational skills
Responsibilities
A lot. Lots of trust was placed into me from the get go, but you were expected to ask questions. This helped me learn and feel comfortable as I was treated as an equal within the team
Support & Guidance
a fair amount from my manager and other members of the business. The people team within the company ran workshops to better skills, such as presenting, cv & interview skills, time management ect.
Culture
Incredible. I felt right at home, the second i walked through the doors on my first day. Everyone at the company is lovely
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind coming back in the future to work for such a great company
Yes
My piece of advice to any student going into the world of work would be to always be happy to try new things, always ask questions and never be afraid to say hello to new people. Building this social network of people is super important as it gives you incredible connections to the industry, as well as possible lifelong friends.
