Overview
Managing a large fleet of vehicles, making sure they're clean, safe, fuelled and services on time for customers. • delivering expert customer service both in person and over the phone. • selling optional insurance protection packages Practicing strict risk management skills such as following accurate underwriting policies, checking payment methods and handling claims accurately and professionally. •chasing invoices • Delivering vehicles to corporate and insurance customers.

Responsibilities
I was given much responsibility in my role from the beginning. Within the first few months I was already running the branch, with the guidance of my assistant manager. As well as this I was provided with my own marketing and customer service projects
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance throughout my placement not only from my assistant and branch manager, but from other surrounding managers as well as my area manager. This provided me with a great sense of community and belonging.
Culture
Given that branches generally have a small team, the culture and atmosphere was great! We worked very hard together and motivated each other to provide great service and time drive business. Apart from that people were very friendly and supportive. Managers often paid for food and experiences for us to enjoy each others company outside of work.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement because my role was designed in a way to constantly motivate me to perform at my highest ability. This was driven not only by financial incentives, but mainly by the culture of growth within the company and how there is always something new to learn and develop in order to better prepare us for promotion after university.
