Overview
Supporting the Industrials sector team with financial modelling, preparing client discussions and Industry research. As an intern, you get exposure to every different vertical within the sector team. In general, the Corporate Banking Division is responsible for the relationship management of the clients. The bankers provide the client with financing suggestions and options that Citi can offer.
Skills
Throughout the internship, I gained several soft as well as hard skills. Through the different intern case studies, I was able to improve my presentation skills and practice speaking in front of senior bankers. Furthermore, the internship provided me with the opportunity to improve my modelling skills and develop a more in-depth understanding of the different financial statements.
Responsibilities
I was given a great amount of responsibility during the internship. In the first week, I was already staffed on building a model together with one of the analysts in the team.
Support & Guidance
Great support from juniors, as well as seniors in the team. During the case studies, it was also great to need to work alone and don't get too much support.
Culture
Very welcoming, open and diverse culture which was great to experience.
Your Impressions
