Overview
Attending meetings and developing my network whilst completing regular tasks for my team. Alongside this, working on a major project to present at the conclusion of the internship. Developing an understanding of the whole business and asset management industry itself
Skills
Yes. Developed networking skills, excel skills, presentation skills.
Responsibilities
Not as much as I would have hoped, although understandable due to the nature of the small team I was working in. When I sought out more work to do, there was plenty available for me to work on. That being said, it was probable that the work i would have produced would not be up to the standards of the company, and I changed mindset to view as learning rather than work.
Support & Guidance
Plenty of support, all one has to do is reach out.
Culture
Company culture was great, people were more than happy to sit down with me and help me with anything I needed. That being said, understandably there is a sense of discontent with the current state of the company.
Your Impressions
I had a great time and have met some amazing people
Yes
Try to show your passion, and your uniqueness. Diversity is very supported here and especially so with diversity of opinion.
