Overview
My 3 principal roles involved collating comparable leasing schedules and availability schedules for the team. I also attended multiple office viewings for prospective tenants and attended launches for newly refurbished offices
Skills
Over the 4 weeks I developed my research skills, interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
Responsibilities
I was given the right amount of responsibility in the way that I was left to complete challenging tasks but nothing beyond my skill set while also always having some to take advice from at all times if needed. I also felt I became a proper member of the team over my 4 weeks
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support from not only my team that I was working with but also from the Early Careers team who were always there if anyone needed anything or was struggling
Culture
The culture of the company creates a very warm and welcoming environment with a dynamic team ethos
Your Impressions
I found it to be an enriching experience in particular hearing from all the various heads of departments about their lines of work. Everyone who I saw or met couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming and were always happy to answer any questions I had
Yes
Be yourself throughout the interview process and don’t shy away from what makes you, you. If you do get the opportunity to do the internship then throw yourself into every opportunity you get and meet as many people as possible!
