    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I believe I was given a fair amount of responsibility that allowed me to really get involved in the Regulatory process and see my contributions but still be appropriate for someone who doesn't have the vast amount of expertise as the other colleagues. Although we wouldn't manage our own drug portfolio and get too involved with the Strategy, we would get very involved with assisting the activities of the different portfolios and have the chance to listen and learn about the strategy side of things.

  • Pfizer has a great company atmosphere. There are numerous events every months that allow you to meet and bond with colleagues and you can even get the opportunity to help out with some of these events if you contact and work with the right teams. The office is a great and well designed place with great facilities. It is quite commutable even to those without a car. Only con is that the Gym membership is no longer free

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I have my Placement to be a great career changing experience. There has been so many opportunities to learn and get involved within the Regulatory work and also extracurricular work. There are also lots of developmental activities provided to us as undergrads which i appreciate. If you enjoy a large company with lots of social activities and very global reach then Pfizer is an amazing choice. I really loved the Hybrid nature of the role too to give you days to sleep in and refresh

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Pfizer
  • Sound very knowledgeable and passionate on your application. You don't have to have prior experience in the role you are applying to for the undergraduate programme but have a secure knowledge and evidence that you have done the research into your role so you have some technical knowledge and valid reasons on why you want to work in that role. Reaching out to current undergrads on LinkedIn and get their advice is also very helpful. There are quite a lot of stages to the interview, but each is very important so try not to prioritise one over the other.
