Overview
I work within a Product and Services team supporting a Global Product Manager with the strategic roll out and development of network APIs. Day-to-day involves creating materials that support wider teams to streamline the rollout process.
Skills
I have really developed my technical understanding of networks, APIs, MEC and other nascent 5G technologies. I have also had the opportunity to develop soft skills such as time management and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
Not particularly given ownership of high profile work, I was more predominantly given responsibility through personal projects.
Support & Guidance
Throughout the placement I was given extensive support from both my manager and the team around me. There was a very clear atmosphere of if someone was able to help you they would take the time to do so.
Culture
The company culture was a really great environment. Everyone is willing to help in any way that they can or help to point you in the right direction if there is someone better fitted to support you.
Your Impressions
I have really enjoyed the placement so far and the opportunities that have come alongside it. The opportunity to get involved with projects and initiatives outside of my day job has been a key highlight.
