Overview
My role within the Change and Remediation team involved identifying and creating efficiencies within the Regulatory Maintenance, Client Data Maintenance and Offboarding teams through simplification and automation, ultimately mitigating risk.
Skills
The role has allowed me to improve my technical skills through Excel, Alteryx and ARIS. It has also improved my communication skills through interaction with internal stakeholders and clients.
Responsibilities
There is plenty of opportunity for responsibility, once I had settled in my role I was running my own projects and outreaching stakeholders which was made possible with my teams guidance
Support & Guidance
The culture here fosters a supportive work environment and guidance is offered firm wide, not just within your team. Everyone is encouraging of young talent and is happy to offer their time to give guidance and explain how their role fits into the UBS structure.
Culture
The culture is definitely one of their USP. Within my team and firm wide, people are very welcoming and supportive and extremely generous with their time to give guidance.
Your Impressions
Exceeded my expectations - I found my role to be really enjoyable and allowed me plenty of opportunity to upskill and there is a great structure of intern events and lecture series to learn more about the wider company
