Overview
Testing specific areas of the profit and loss, assessing financial statements for accuracy, conversing with clients regarding issues with the financial statements. Building basic understanding of Accounting and Financial principles.
Skills
Client interaction. Basic Accounting knowledge. Soft skills. Excel development.
Responsibilities
There is a large amount of responsibility given to the intern, obviously there is a limitation based on financial knowledge and experience. However, considering this factor a large amount of work is independent. Support is always available.
Support & Guidance
Support is always available, surrounded by people of all levels and a hot seating system makes support highly accessible.
Culture
Excellent, welcoming and open to questions regarding the role. You are made to feel as comfortable as possible.

I enjoyed the internship it is open to developing you as a person and supports career focused individuals.
Yes
Focus on soft skills, if you can pass the psychometric, numerical and verbal reasoning tests then the rest will be based on behavioural aspects. Aim to be an excellent communicator with an inquisitive mindset. Regarding the online meeting; aim to have the basics of audit knowledge on hand as that will help you get through the interview process, as well as knowing what was on your CV!
