Overview
Interning with the audit department, checking/ testing the finances of clients to ensure that they are 'true and fair'. If assigned to a client booking, would be working with the team to go through the various tests/ procedures necessary on different areas of the client's accounts, working with both the client and the rets of the audit team to solve issues.
Skills
Excel skills and general tech skills have massively improved. Problem solving and professional relationship skills also developed.
Responsibilities
Not too much responsibility which was quite nice as low pressure/ stress. There was always someone to help and review work which has been done.
Support & Guidance
A good amount of support and guidance were provided from managers as well as associates on various tasks throughout the internship.
Culture
The company culture and culture is really relaxed. People are good at their jobs but the environment is pretty stress-free. Everyone is really friendly and a lot of the people within the audit team are quite young.
Your Impressions
Very enjoyable.
