Overview
Preparing tax returns, data entry exercises, intern project.
Skills
Attention-to-detail, letter-writing, presentation skills.
Responsibilities
We handled real clients' tax returns from the first day however I would have liked to see more varied work, perhaps on the advisory side as a final intern project instead of preparing a fake client pitch. I do understand however that we do come in with limited knowledge however I would have liked more responsibility.
Support & Guidance
I was given a lot of support from my buddy but not too much so it doesn't feel like I need to be handheld throughout the process which I quite like.
Culture
Very nice team, made me feel welcome.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it very much at the end of the day I learned a lot. I do wish there were more events specialised to interns like an intern social day or volunteering day to get to know other departments.
